Hi guys, This is the first post on this blog.

I wanted somewhere to write things down that don’t fit anywhere else: notes on problems I got stuck on, books I liked, and the occasional historical fact that turned out to be stranger than expected.

Why write any of this down

Writing something down forces you to find out whether you actually understood it. It’s easy to read an explanation, nod along, and walk away just to forget everything the next day. It’s much harder to fool yourself once you have to put it in your own words.

So I guess this blog is mostly for me. If someone else finds it useful, that’s a bonus.

What to expect

Medium length posts mostly, irregular upload timelines. Probably a lot of them about programming, some about whatever I happen to be reading or insights i gained from living life. I will try to make the posts interesting and in depth, backed by some research.
